Halvorsen Conditori is welcoming us with it’s beautiful venue that will bring you to Buenos Aires without being on a plane for 13 hours. It’s elegant, tasty and has a wooden floor. Bring a friend, a girlfriend or a lover for a romantic evening in the heart of Oslo.

COURSE

Wear your shoes and i will guide you to find your way to Argentine Tango. Let us open that door together!

Come to our 5- weeks long tango course and we will make both your feet and your soul sparkle! Patrycja will " polish" your tango and Fredrik will make it "sweed". I am from Poland and Fredrik is from Sweden but our hearts were crafted in Argentina. And as Fredrik always mentions: we are not a couple😂 we are just friends who loves teaching tango together.We assume that since u want to dance tango, you like to hug people. For us tango is more about friendship and passion than about drama and being « proper».Join the party and find a tango dancer within you!

Beginners starts at 1800-1900.

No partner needed but best if you bring one!

No special shoes needed but best if you have some that can pivot ( slide:)

Open level, where we will be exploring different aspects of tango from 1900-2000. We study the music and the movements.

Here are some topics we may use:

1. What to do in the dark corners.

2. When talking don't! When dancing do interrupt. Sacadas.

3. Spin me around. Pivots. Giros.

4. How to kick your partner making no harm. Ganchos.

5. For play. How to start the dance.

6.Hang on me. Colgadas.

7. Waltz.

8. Milonga.

After classes we shall hit the floor and dance til 2300 during the @esamilonga.

5 weeks course( 1 class, including milonga) NOK 1200 / student price 600

5 weeks course ( 2 classes, including milonga) NOK 1500 / student price 750

BEGINNER CLASS *ONLY* from 18-19 NOK 100

After the classes there is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY milonga( party) from 20:00 - 20:30.

You can dance 1 song only and there is no need to dance the whole tanda = 4 songs with 1 partner - which is a traditional way of dancing in Buenos Aires.

From 20:30 - 23 we continue with social dancing, milonga!
